Gửi các nước láng giềng của chúng ta,
Gửi các cư dân sinh sống trên hành tinh này…
Những gì đang xảy ra ở Gaza là không thể nào dung thứ được. Thậm chí mọi việc còn nghiêm trọng hơn cả mức không thể dung thứ được: sự kiện này đã cho chúng ta thấy sự thất bại của nền văn minh nhân loại và khiến chúng ta phải lo lắng về viễn cảnh cho toàn thể nhân loại.
Nạn đói do người dân bị ngăn chặn nguồn lương thực, các cuộc bắn phá trên diện rộng, các đoàn xe cứu trợ bị chặn đường, các tòa nhà chung cư và bệnh viện bị phá hủy, trẻ em suy dinh dưỡng, dân thường bị giết hại bằng súng đạn…
Mỗi ngày trôi qua, giới hạn của nỗi kinh hoàng lại được nâng lên. (Hành động tự thiêu của Aaron Bushnell cho thấy sự tuyệt vọng của con người có thể dẫn tới điều gì).
Tổ chức Y tế Thế giới cho biết hiện đã có 100.000 người chết và mất tích, trong đó có 18.000 trẻ em.
Chúng ta cần phải ngừng bắn ngay lập tức, thực hiện viện trợ nhân đạo khẩn cấp và thả tự do cho tất cả con tin.
Ở Ukraine, sau hơn hai năm giao tranh khủng khiếp, đã có 500.000 người thiệt mạng. Và trước mắt vẫn không có hồi kết nào cho cuộc đổ máu, không có dự án hòa bình nào được đưa ra trên bàn đàm phán.
Và điều này đã biến một châu lục vốn từng mong muốn sống hòa bình trở nên đối lập với chính điều đó.
Trong khi chúng ta nên huy động mọi phương tiện để đương đầu với những thách thức mà nhân loại đang phải đối mặt (biến đổi khí hậu, bất bình đẳng, nghèo đói về vật chất và tinh thần), thì chi tiêu quân sự hiện nay lại đạt ngưỡng cao chưa bao giờ thấy trước đây.
Hiện tại có 56 cuộc chiến đang diễn ra ở nhiều nơi khác nhau trên thế giới và một số khu vực đang diễn ra xung đột nghiêm trọng.
Hành tinh của chúng ta đang bốc cháy.
Liệu chúng ta có để cho chính chúng ta bị kéo vào một cuộc chiến tranh thế giới thứ ba một cách vui vẻ và vô thức không?
Chúng tôi kêu gọi các nhà thơ, nghệ sĩ, trí thức, đàn ông và phụ nữ trên hành tinh hãy hét lên: Đủ rồi! Ngừng bắn! Hãy cùng nhau hành động để cứu lấy cơ hội cho sự sống trên Trái đất!

A nos voisins,
Habitantes et Habitants de la Planète…
Ce qui se passe à Gaza est insupportable. Plus qu’insupportable : cela montre l’échec de notre civilisation et nous fait craindre ce que le futur nous réserve, en tant qu’humanité à part entière.
La famine organisée, les bombardements massifs, la destruction des immeubles d’habitation et des hôpitaux, les enfants affamés, les convois d’aide bloqués, les civils mitraillés…
Chaque jour repousse les limites de l’horreur. (L’immolation d’Aaron Bushnell montre à quels actes individuels de désespoir cela peut conduire).
L’organisation mondiale de la santé parle maintenant de 100 000 morts et disparus, dont 18 000 enfants.
Il faut un cessez-le feu immédiat, une aide urgente pour la population et la libération de tous les otages.
En Ukraine, après plus de deux ans de terribles combats, on en serait à 500 000 morts. A l’horizon pas d’arrêt à l’effusion de sang et pas de projet de paix sur la table.
Et cela transforme un continent qui se voulait fondé sur un projet de paix en son contraire.
Alors que nous devrions mobiliser tous les moyens pour faire face aux défis auxquels l’humanité est confrontée (le changement climatique, les inégalités, la pauvreté matérielle et spirituelle), jamais les dépenses militaires n’avaient atteint de tels sommets.
Il y a en ce moment 56 guerres en cours en divers endroits de la planète et plusieurs zones où couvent de graves conflits.
Notre planète est en feu.
Allons-nous accepter de nous laisser entraîner joyeusement et en toute inconscience vers une troisième guerre mondiale ?
Nous appelons les poètes de la planète, les artistes, les intellectuels, les hommes et les femmes à crier : ça suffit ! Halte au feu ! Agissons ensemble pour sauver les chances de la vie sur Terre !

What is happening in Gaza is unbearable. More than unbearable : it shows us the failure of our civilisation and makes us fear the future reserved for us of humanity as a whole.
Organized famine, massive bombardments, blocked aid convoys, destroyed apartment buildings and hospitals, malnourished children, machine-gunned civilians…
Every day pushes the limits of horror. (The self-immolation of Aaron Bushnell shows what individual acts of desperation this can lead to).
The World Health Organization now speaks of 100,000 dead and missing, including 18 000 children.
We need an immediate ceasefire, emergency humanitarian aid and the release of all hostages.
In Ukraine, after more than two years of terrible fightings, there are 500,000 deaths. there is no end to the bloodshed on the horizon and no project of peace on the table.
And it transforms a continent that wanted to be based on a project of peace into its opposite.
While we should mobilize all means to confront the challenges facing humanity (climate change, inequalities, material and spiritual poverty), military spending has never reached such heights.
There are currently 56 wars underway in different places around the world and several areas where serious conflicts are brewing.
Our planet is on fire.
Are we going to allow ourselves to be happily and unconsciously dragged into a third world war?
We call on the planet’s poets, artists, intellectuals, men and women to shout: Enough is enough! Ceasefire! Let’s act together to save the chances of life on Earth!
