His biography:

– Born on January 10, 1945

– Homeland: Thach Xa Ha Village, Hong Thuy Commune, Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province

– Member of Vietnam Writers’ Association (1982)

– Author of 18 collections of poems so far and one volume of Literature Critics. Participated in many international exchanges in Hanoi, at the Vietnam National Association of Arts and Literature, Russian Federation; invited to visit Russia, China, travelled in America, European countries, Japan and some Asian countries.

– Six times received the Luu Trong Lu Literature and Art Award of Quang Binh province. Awarded by the Vietnam Writers’ Association for the poem collection of Thap Nghieng, Award of Van Nghe newspaper, Quan Doi newspaper and other Awards.

THE SUN ROLLS OVER THE BRIDGE OF LOVE 
 
I step onto the bridge – of – love  
suspended  
the orange has ripened  
the bridge sways, sways like a hammock rocking by the stream  
where lovers lean their shadows tilting  
cool and sweet  
like orange slices shared equally  
autumn has crowned  
gold spreads atop the hat’s peak  
why do your lips glow red, like the sun hiding in the Ozo forest,  
each morning gliding above me.

Anh bước lên cây - cầu - tình - yêu
lơ lửng
 
quả cam đã chín tới
cầu chung chiêng chung chiêng cánh võng ru bên suối
những cặp tình nhân bóng đổ ngả nghiêng
mát ngọt
như múi cam chia đều cho nhau
mùa thu đã lên ngôi
vàng phơi trên chóp mũ
sao đôi môi lại đỏ hệt mặt trời nấp trong rừng ozo
sáng sáng lướt qua anh.
